Poppy-ness – Applique & embroidery pattern by Abbie Searle

Poppy-ness is an adaptation of part of one of my quilt patterns……. this new wall hanging is made with applique & embroidery.  There are 2 full sized patterns within the pack, detailing which parts are applique and which embroidery.  Full instructions how to make, there are also diagrams of how to do the embroidery stitches that I’ve used to complete the sample.

(This pattern also works well using the machine reverse applique technique – Pile & Plunder)
